Fire Mitigation

Wildfires are one of the fastest growing environmental hazards in Colorado. In the last 20 years the average number of wildfires per year has doubled and with it the intensity, size and fire season length have also grown. The Colorado Forest Service recommends “To reduce wildfire hazards to your home and property, the most effective actions to take are to minimize the ability of the home to ignite during a wildfire and to reduce or eliminate nearby fuel.” Nick is a certified arborist and former wildland firefighter who specializes in fire mitigation and the current fire regulations for homes and properties in the area. Nick has worked with many home owners and their insurance companies to protect homes and properties from the increasing threat of wildfires.
